Based in Mumbai, Neelesh has 21 years of broad-based consulting and industry experience and has advised leading companies in several sectors including consumer goods, retail, diamonds and jewelry, luxury, agri-business, transportation/logistics, oil, gas and power, and financial services. He has advised clients across geographies—India, Sri Lanka, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Middle East, Europe, and North America.

His areas of expertise are vision and growth strategy, operations strategy, supply chain transformation, and performance improvement. He brings to bear a strong understanding of the Indian/Asian consumer, retail market dynamics, and the operations and supply landscape in several consumer categories such as apparel, textiles, accessories, food and beverage, personal care, and gems and jewelry. He has in-depth industry and consulting experience in organization transformation, change management and human resources.

He has authored several comprehensive industry studies of the premium Indian consumer with Indian industry bodies such as CII, FICCI, RAI as well as international industry bodies and has spoken at major industry events.

He sits on the CII Core Committee on Luxury and Lifestyle and also the CII National Committee on Textiles. He is also the Honorary Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Bombay International School, Mumbai.
